(I'm really just kidding but if we did that white supremacist would be the nicest thing we'd be called) the only answer to this race issue is to become colorblind as the song says. But we can't do that as long as we constantly keep getting reminded we are different and not the same. Equality takes place when we forget about what seperates us and focus on what we have in common! In high school Mark L. and I were best friends and inseparable and yes he was black. We didn't care. His family considered me their family and vice versa. We were just buddies all the way through high school. My dad helped him get a great job at what was then Bowater and I went on to college but Mark fell in love and decided to go the family route at a young age. We never worried about color.

Yall have to understand, to make a commercial about white pride or celebration is arrogant because whites still control every facet of this country. From the banks to the judicial system and etc. Whites for a long time oppressed (past tense) other races. Now in this new age, having a black culture commercial is reminding blacks and other minorities that we are equal. Take in mind oppression still exist psychologically. So without knowing our history and our contributions how can morale be lifted? And Black history month does not cut it... if you want divisiveness to end..go out and pound the pavement. Stand up for minorities when you see they are being mistreated. Racism started with the Racial Majority...it will have to die with the racial majority (white people)

It’s not that white people want a commercial about white pride or whatever, it’s if there was such a thing it would be considered racist. But white people will always control the majority of businesses and government etc simply because white people are 2/3 of the population. By the shear numbers there are millions and millions more white people.
