I have no issues supressing these tired old Christmas tunes at home, in-car, and workplace. The problem is the public arenas where the repetitive ear cancer has already been solidly in rotation from the moment "Monster Mash" went off the playlist.

We just need some sort of auditory buffer between Oct 31 and say, Dec 10th or so. 2-3 weeks of it is a gosh plenty. Christmas has become a 2.5 month enduro.


Can "Mariah Carey drove me to do this" be used as a legal defense?
