Gore versus Trump

Jun 28, 2022, 9:20 PM

Clearly beyond any shadow of doubt Gore had much more reason to be pissed about the results of the election than Trump. But what did Gore do? He was a true patriot and conceded the election for the good of the country.

There is absolutely no evidence to support trumps claim that the election was stolen. Can any of you provide evidence? If not, how do you still support this man? The fact that so many of you still support a very dangerous bad person makes me more understand how Hitler convinced Germans to support him.

Come on T3, you’re smart enough to know that Gore did actually concede the election. Narcissistic nut job Trump has not done that yet . Care to disagree? Are you so partisan that you will defend any Republican no matter how bad and repulsive they are?

Trump: made billions through hard work, dedication, and the art of the deal.

Gore: made billions by selling something that doesn’t exist to idiots.

WRONG on both accounts, but nice try... Silver spoons, both.***

OMG really?

He was born on 3rd base and his arrogant A$$ thinks he hit a home run. Daddy funded everything, bailed him out of bad business decisions until he died. He filed bankruptcy multiple times because of bad business decisions. I’m convinced he’s not near as wealthy as he brags about being. Likely has lots of debt. It’s amazing how wealthy people are allowed to file bankruptcy and rip off creditors!

David Tepper’s company has filed bankruptcy due to the debacle in Rock Hill. This man is the richest owner, or was until recently, in the NFL and is allowed to file bankruptcy and rip off business owners. Something is wrong with our laws for sure if this is legal. Idiot should be ashamed of himself.

I was too young to realize how crazy that #### was in 2000.

Jun 28, 2022, 10:53 PM

I knew all the hanging Chad jokes, but the decision was actually 5-4 that they didn't have enough time to complete the hand recount given the lack of guidance about the issue. Given the small margin (200?) who knows how the recount would have turned out. There was a separate case (Seminole county iirc) to throw out ballots that were filled out incorrectly and the pubs corrected them. Gore wasn't directly involved in the case, but can you imagine the bricks Republicans would #### if dems did that in 2020? To be fair, Gore did have to be convinced to concede after SCOTUS, but that was it. He had his day in court, lost, and conceded

Not a lawyer, but it's my understanding that

Jun 28, 2022, 11:43 PM

this was considered such a bad decision because SCOTUS blocked Florida from the recount while they were deciding then used the not enough time argument. I have no idea if they could have fairly decided how to count those votes, but I'd argue that it's a more legitimate grievance than any of the 2020 lawsuits.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Jeb and Kat Harris took care of that one. PNAC called SCOTUS

It was the beginning of Cheney's first term and then Bush's... That was 41's call.
