Deshaun Watson, and you just have to wonder, How in the Heyall did he get himself into the situation with all these women claiming these sordid things about him. It is just so completely out of character for the person we all knew from his time at Clemson, and from his time in Houston.
The biggest thing that the press constantly seizes on, which also has to give ANYONE pause, is, as Rich Eisen summed up, the sheer number of women in these complaints. He said, like others, "Twenty two women. Where there is THAT much smoke, there has GOT to be some fire, doesn't there?"
Now that the "criminal" part of the complaints is off the table (unless yet ANOTHER Grand Jury convenes), these civil cases get more interesting. I have no doubt that Watson's legal team is urging him to settle out of court on these things, just to get the drama over with. The fact that he refuses to do so, to me is proof of his innocence, at least in his own mind.
I believe, if the first ONE of these women fails to win in court, or tries to quietly withdraw their suit, the rest will fall like dominoes. Butt, it appears that the shyster lawyer Busbee is keeping all his clients in line, so this thing literally could drag out for years.
At some point before the start of this next NFL season, Commissioner Goodell is going to have to do what he has been praying he won't, which is, suspend Watson without proof of wrongdoing, or, let him play. Either way, he is doomed, if the cases have not been resolved by then. He (Goodell) is in a no-win situation.

I will say this, a young man that was raised by a good loving-caring mother the way DW4 and his brother were raised, more times than not there is a good young man that comes from that type of environment. DW4 was a star QB at a university that is loaded with beautiful young girls/young women that DW4 could have had just about any of them that he wanted. Here was a star for 3 plus years, and absolutely none of what those massage parlor women are saying about DW4, there hasn't been even a hint of DW4 being like that while at Clemson.
Some may say well, DW4 didn't have the money to get into those same situations at Clemson bc of lack of money. Well I'll bet that DW4 didn't lack of money while at Clemson. I'll bet that alumni, and IPTAY members kept DW4's pockets stuffed with as much cash as he needed while at Clemson, and I bet that 99% of the time, he never knew where the cash come from bc it was funneled to him anonymously in some form. I'm saying that the allegations are not true, and they have been brought up for exchange of money that DW4 refused to give them. By him refusing to be blackmailed, knowing the threats that were made if he refused to pay, that tells me that DW4 knows he done nothing wrong, and he said from the start of it, that he has done nothing wrong and he's paying them over threats bc he believed that people who knew him, knew he wasn't guilty of that BS!!!!

I think that the fact it's 22 women prove that the charges are bogus! Why, because it's a "Jump on the Free Money Train!" My guess is that a few of these women came up with the scam, the others who had been called on by DW saw an opportunity for a big payday and climbed onboard. Another thing, at least 2 of these women went back 2 and 3 times, AFTER, they now claim they were abused or mistreated by Watson. So the bottom is WHY? Why would you go back to a client that supposedly abused you? The answer is they absolutely would not, period. DW4 didn't do anything but have lots of money and became an easy mark.

has anyone here actually read the filings? They are cookie cutter template filings... and they read very much as if Busbee "led the witness" ... there was a single girl who said she engaged in actual sexual activity said she did it voluntarily but added the disclaimer she "felt coerced"...
The 18 other women we never hear about, the ones who came out and said DW4 was nothing like the depictions in Busbee's filings...
The other oddity is the timing of the entire thing. Nothing before 2020, if this was a severe character flaw you would have to think there would be something before 2020, but its 2020 post COVID lockdown only.
And the Busbee-Mcnair connection... neighbors and all...

I've said from the beginning that the McNairs had a hand in this....DW4 comes out and says "trade me or I'm not playing", then the next week all these "victims" appear. Yeah not buying it at all
