I hate to even think this way but I wonder how important Culture is going to be as we go forward??

It seems like these kids are now more interested in playing earlier even for programs like UNC, and yes SC aka cootsville. IMO parents and kids are looking at the NIL $$$$ and how can you program promote my kid. If he is not playing a lot of snaps then his name is not getting out there for NlL opportunities. Some Parents are looking at their kids as a meal ticket, some are hoping their kid makes enough money to set himself up in a comfortable financial situation. IMO the money is going to take precedence over building a kid into a good man with character, honesty and integrity. I believe the $$$$ signs will affect so called student athletes from even completing their education.

One poster commented about fan involvement in 5 to 7 years from now. Based on stats college football has been declining over the last several years. I think Clemson has been one of the few schools whose attendance has remained consistent.

Last year when fans could not attend games I know of a couple of families that had time to realize just how much money they were spending each year to attend home games. With so much uncertainty with CF this year and in the future they decided not buy season tickets this past season or next season either. I wonder how many others made the same decisions??

The NCAA has lost control on college athletics. They have let the TP get out of control and basically the players are running the show. Immature 18 to 21 years of age a being given bad advice based on $$$$$$.

With the TP do you think we can ever build up the program so we can say we are 2 deep at most every position. I don’t understand Larson and Ajou Ajou going into the portal. Can someone please give me their opinion or a reason on those two going to the TP??

I will still be All In for the Tigers my team since I was a kid. I wish Dabo the best if anybody can fix it, he can!

You know, I never really saw much upside in Rico.***

Culture has always been important but the football "student athlete" has changed substantially
over the past 60 years. Unfortunately for the worse with thuggery increasing over academics. We are fortunate at Clemson where character still counts.

Well, to your point. It is declining as the gen Z has been widely reported are not as interested in attending FB games. So the revenue stream will drive most of it.

As for the portal and maintaining 2 deep and development strategies. It's mimicking basketball. But imo, it's a lot easier to mesh a team in bball than FB. The good thing is it affects all fbs programs so I would think the schools will have to address the situation collectively at some point. Is that when we'll see super conferences that set up their own rules. Maybe so. If we do it through legislation, how's it enforced? So, imo, since the NCAA oversees all college athletics, they're going to have to be the ones to enforce legislation.

Ajou and Ladson are true head scratchers. We will find out later that the WR room was like the rb room?

Congress could exempt the NCAA from antitrust laws and put the genie back in the bottle where it belongs.
