Under Brad Brownell Clemson has only brought in 3 classes in the top 50. The highest of those ranked only 40th in the nation....
In the same time frame South Carolina has had a top 25 class every single year but one in football.

So your point is that both Clemson basketball and South Carolina can’t recruit nor coach well enough to be big time or even above average?
Let’s drop the South Carolina part because they are who they are... losers in all things men’s sports related.
As for our basketball team, I’d like a coach with a plan in place on how to get better. Sell a vision that gets everyone affiliated with Clemson aligned and marching to one beat. Currently we don’t have that and the product put on the court is reflective of that.

As long as BV and Dabo intentionally let “win” against us by keeping it a 3 score game that fan base will continue to sing muschamps praises. Thank goodness our staff is smart enough to “lose” that game and keep our advantage alive.

You were comparing uofsc football to Clemson basketball! Totally two different sports. Clemson basketball has won more then one conference championships. Not conference tournaments, but conference championships.

than an appearance in the Sweet 16 > getting blown-out and embarrassed by a middling UVa team in an irrelevant third-tier bowl game which was effectively a home game for u of 5c since BOA Stadium is located less than 90 minutes from the campus.
So what you're saying is, Brownell accomplished more with less compared to CussChamp?

I am not a big Brad Brownell fan. I though he was a poor hire from day one, I thought he should have been fired years ago, and I though the raise and contract extension he received after last year was an over-reaction to an uncharacteristically good season.
That said, if comparing Clemson basketball to u of 5c football is the exercise, I think it's fair to say they have both failed to live up to expectations. CussChamp has recruited a little better but that's also easier to do when the rankings, at least to a certain extent, are based on quantity rather than quality.
My point is, you're comparing apples and oranges.
