Friend of mine needs a coat for a trip up to the New England area. We live in the Charleston area and it isn't is easy to find one here. Most possibly we'll be up in Clemson Saturday for the UConn game. Where would be a good place to get women's coats there? TIA.

My experience is that coats are best tried on before buying. Charleston doesn't have a high demand for coats meaning not a great selection. I guessing upstate might be better.

By using your computer, you can go to this search engine to type in the type of coats that you want. Purchase them, and then the vendor will ship them to your house.
Your wife can then try them all on, to determine which one she likes. The ones she doesn't, she can send back in the same bag (designed for returns) and the vendor will refund you.
It's great.
Most of my customers are having a tough time dealing w/ returns at scale, but we are working on solutions to help them. So by ordering online, you're probably helping me!

Camp out nearby with a varmint rifle. After a couple of nights you should be able to get enough coon skins to make a nice coat

they have the best name-quality stuff in town probably. They carry the major camping, hiking, and outdoor brands.
