I've got this nagging thought in the back of my mind

Dec 30, 2015, 10:34 AM

causing me some concern about how yet another off field issue will impacted this team. I mean, focus is one thing but the kids left to deal with the game aren't unfeeling, non-human robots, they are kids. Each of these 3 offenders have friends that are left with pain, questions and frustration. Maybe even a little anger, who knows how that will manifest itself on the field. Just a little concerned but I'm always concerned before a game.

You chittin me?

These guys are looking to move up the depth chart. They'll concern themselves with friendships when they get their hands on that trophy.

Mow '88, I never stated it was a rational nagging thought....you're right, most of these kids are highly competative, makes sense.

Who are they going to be mad at? They failed a drug test.

That was their choice and dabos hands are tied on their suspension. They know before big games there are random drug tests yet they come in knowing they're going to pi$$ dirty? That's just stupidity. The best course of action outside of just not doing any drugs period would be to not do any drugs within 2 weeks of your playoff game and even if one was stupid enough to do anything within those 2-3 weeks there are ways to flush your system if you do it early enough and still pass the drug test. Failing a drug test the week you know there will most certainly be a drug test is pure arrogance and stupidity. No one is going to be angry at anyone but the players that put themselves in that situation.
