Clemson

Clemson did nothing to merit being dropped.

Sep 20, 2015, 12:17 PM

No team did enough to merit jumping us.

Re: Clemson did nothing to merit being dropped.

Sep 20, 2015, 12:26 PM

That's not true... Take your orange glasses off. Clemson did nothing to warrant being dropped but LSU and Ole Miss deserve to jump us. LSU physically dominated a team that beat Lousiville and we had a close game with Lousiville. Ole Miss went on the road and beat the #2 team in the country. Both deserve their ranking.

It will all work it self out if Clemson keeps winning. Don't worry about rankings at the moment. We are in a great spot.. Just win baby win.

Take your SEC glasses off coot.

Sep 20, 2015, 12:30 PM

You're bragging about LSU beating a AU at home. AU's last game was against a Jax State team ranked in the fifties and it took a bad punt in the final quarter by Jax State to hand AU the game.

Like I said, we did nothing to merit dropping and no one did enough to merit jumping us.

Coot now that's funny!!!

Sep 20, 2015, 12:36 PM

Hahahah.. You really are delusional.

I never said Auburn was good or that they should be ranked. All I look at is the games. Auburn was obviously overrated... But they still beat Louisville. But that's alright don't let facts get in the way. Just keep thinking that everyone who doesn't agree with you is a coot. That will serve you will in life, idiot.

Yea... He's the head bobble head of the reach around gang! If you in anyway ruffle his feathers you automatically receive the coot monicker! Holier than though half the time and name calling the other half! Everything he doesn't know fills the library of congress! SMDH

Bama should never have been at #2 with no proven QB(much like auburn at #6 with no QB and no d) and after bama showed their d could be burned deep vs Ohio st last season.

Bama should've started top 10 but not 2. Auburn maybe should never have been ranked.

LSU and UGA are the teams to beat, and the best qb's in the sec (Kelly, Coker, lambert) minus dobbs at Tennessee are all former acc backups and transfers fyi.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If you were objective, and looking at Ole Miss vs. Clemson

Sep 20, 2015, 2:11 PM [ in reply to Take your SEC glasses off coot. ]

in what they have done so far this season, which one do you think deserves to be ranked higher? We have beat App St., Wofford, and Louisville, none of which are good teams. Ole Miss is also undefeated, yet beat Alabama on the road. Not saying Alabama is a world beater, but that win is better than any of ours. They should be ranked higher. It's not very hard to understand.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You are correct about those teams beating "ranked" teams

Sep 20, 2015, 12:32 PM [ in reply to Re: Clemson did nothing to merit being dropped. ]

However, the problem with the polls still at this point is that Auburn never should have been ranked as high as they were. They have not looked like a Top 25 at any point this season. Could have easily lost all 3 games.

In the long run, the Top 10 will shake out like it should. But the 11-25 spots will always contain SEC teams that should not be there because of the preseason rankings and their influence.

Re: You are correct about those teams beating "ranked" teams

Sep 20, 2015, 12:39 PM

I agree with you. Auburn was far overrated coming into the season which has increased their ranking since every week. Like you said, it will work it self out and the cream will rise to the top.

Sep 20, 2015, 2:18 PM [ in reply to Re: Clemson did nothing to merit being dropped. ]

Agree about Ole Miss, but auburn is nowhere near a top 25 team

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Re: Tigers at #10. Ole Miss jumps to #5

Sep 20, 2015, 12:18 PM

How does anyone still have auburn ranked?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

How does Auburn not fall out of top 25

Sep 20, 2015, 12:18 PM

after the ### whoopin they took?

And where is SCU??!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If anyone ever doubts SEC bias in these polls and

Sep 20, 2015, 12:20 PM

the influence of pre-season polls, please give a truly reasonable explanation for Auburn at 25 other than they where they started in the pre-season poll and being in the SEC.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

How's Auburn even getting any votes, much less ranked? And

Sep 20, 2015, 12:25 PM

how is Missouri in top 25?

GO TIGERS

So we won on the road on a Thursday night and

Sep 20, 2015, 12:29 PM

dropped a spot. LSU moves up five sports for beating Auburn, the team that almost lost to Jacksonville State.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: So we won on the road on a Thursday night and

Sep 20, 2015, 12:40 PM

So, besides beating ND, to move higher in the polls we just need USUC to step up and help us out by beating LSU on Oct 10th? They'll probably lose just to spite us!??

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree about LSU, but what does the Thursday night portion

Sep 20, 2015, 2:13 PM [ in reply to So we won on the road on a Thursday night and ]

of your post have to do with anything. Why would that have any influence on our poll spot?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Surprised GT is ranked that high...

Sep 20, 2015, 12:30 PM

Goeas to show that a lot of voters just look at the final score. GT only made that game close in garbage time.

Sep 20, 2015, 12:31 PM

a top 25??? LSU and UGA are legit.. Remaining of SEC is BS

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson and FSU both win and drop in this poll.....

Sep 20, 2015, 12:44 PM

unbelievable

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

And to think both were road conference games, on shorter

Sep 20, 2015, 12:50 PM

than normal weeks. All things that the "experts" say are setups for a loss or tough game. So Clemson and FSU still win, all though in tighter games.

This is the exact scenario that gets the anti-SEC people riled up.

Fact: Favored team guts out a tough road conference win.

SEC - "This shows how hard it is to win in the SEC and therefore "Team X" is really good"

Anyone Else - "They're not an elite team since they can't go on the road and dominate"

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

When Auburn barely beat Louisville....

Sep 20, 2015, 1:33 PM

if I remember correctly, Auburn rose in the polls.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Whichever Coach Voted Alabama #2 and Auburn #7

Sep 20, 2015, 12:47 PM

Needs to have their voting rights taken away. There is no way that one can justify those votes without bias. I have no problem with where we are at the moment nor do I have an issue with UGA, Ole Miss, or Alabama's overall position. I think LSU is higher than they should be, but I can at least understand the argument for it. I can't really understand why TCU is ahead of Michigan State, but that's negligible at this point. However, I don't think there's any possible justification for Alabama #2 or Auburn #7 which is how at least one person voted. I'm wondering if they didn't submit a ballot from last week without updating.

JUST KEEP WINNING!! One week at a time.***

Sep 20, 2015, 2:22 PM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

you'd think Ohio st & ucla would've dropped.

Sep 20, 2015, 2:56 PM

they both came quite close to losing at home.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't see anyone in the top 10 losing next week to give us

Sep 20, 2015, 3:18 PM

a top 10 match-up (at least as the headline reads) v. ND

Maybe UCLA get beat by Arizona but both teams over-rated.
