is Louisiana trying to criminalize miscarriages and IVF?
Why does abortion after being raped carry a stiffer penalty than rape?
Why do yall hate women so much?

Can you link a reputable source about the miscarriages? I haven't seen that nor would it make any sense. Unless, the woman causes the miscarriage because of illegal drug usage.

Opponents of House Bill 813 included lawyers who said language in the proposal would make procedures such as in-vitro fertilization and the freezing of embryos punishable crimes. Birth control pills, intrauterine devices and emergency contraception would also be outlawed, based on their interpretation of the bill.
Melissa Flournoy, a former state lawmaker and board chair of Louisiana Progress, said McCormick’s measure could have unintended consequences, including the “criminalization of miscarriages.”

Link to the actual bill:
https://legis.la.gov/legis/BillInfo.aspx?i=242732
Seems they have revised the ""Person" includes a human being from the moment of fertilization and implantation and also includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not." by striking through "implantation." I guess because of the above assessment

So a far leftie is quoted as saying it "could" have unintended consequences. Your op makes it seem it IS happening with the bill.

What would your take be on this language?

I see it as you can't prevent an embryo that has been fertilized from implanting on the uterine wall.

Is alcohol consumption during pregnancy a problem?

Wife and I competed in a case race the day before we found out she was preggers. At age 11, the jury is still out, but I think the boy is okay.

Fun Fact:

fetuses are mostly immune to the effects of alcohol, even binge drinking, in the first trimester (give or take). Almost an evolutionary defense mechanism once human bodies discovered that humans discovered alcohol.

I don’t live in Louisiana.
For me, this issue is states’s rights vs govt overreach, nothing else. Has nothing to do with what anyone “feelings” are about abortion.

Re: Also, if a state criminalizes interracial marriage...

I wouldn’t support either of those, but if my state passed them, the next election would be the time to address it. I’d rather state elected officials make decisions that effect me vs someone in Seattle.
FYI, you are arguing about “proposed laws”. You know how many crazy “proposed laws” are out there???

You're comparing interracial marriage to murder?

Either you REALLY hate interracial marriage, or you really don't have a problem with murder. Maybe both.
If you took all of the shiiit that you spew on here and used it in your yard, you wouldn't have had to buy all that nitrogen, btw.

Late to your party, but comparing views on interracial marriage (love) to abortion (to kill or not to kill) is really strange.
Did you do this because you recognized that your abortion stance was floundering?
