The way the entire team responded to Cade taking command

No I haven’t seen training camp and football is about more than one position and I don’t know every factor influencing the coaches’ decisions on starting DJ, but I’ve been to numerous games since the opener against Georgia last year including both neutral games in Charlotte, and the way the sideline and fanbase responded to Cade last night spoke volumes. I’m not going to say that Dabo wrecked our season by obstinately defending DJ or fire Streeter after one season although any of those conclusions may be valid, but there is something to be said about last night and the coaching staff needs to take it seriously. I am happy for Cade finally getting his chance and for DJ being a great teammate, I hope Dabo is right and the team’s future is as bright as those two young men. Not if the cfp committee has something to say about us…
the team step up when Cade was in. Their QB was DJ,until it wasn't and the coaches did what they could, mistakes ,or not, to keep from losing the team. Some can't see that.
Yesterday, it was like the first time DW4 step on the field, EVERY SINGLE player had a pep in their step !!!
Right. But there’s a lot of factors that go into that. Cade is extremely young and definitely wasn’t expected to be in that position of leadership in his first season, while the coaches develop him and DJ takes all the public criticism on himself. Also the coaches have really only thrown him into games that were already won or lost, with the exception of Syracuse which was really won by Ship and the defense. The team never had a chance to follow Cade, but last night we saw the consequences of things building up in the locker room out of public view, all season
