So frustrating to see game after game blown on cold shooting and an inability to make free throws down the stretch. And yes, Judge Keller, I will go ahead and own being a bad basketball fan.

has gone from playoff shoe-in in the preseason to out of the top 25 with 1 week left in the season.
We won’t even win our division in one of the weakest power 5 conferences, despite significantly better talent than everyone we played in the conference.
Yet you think our basketball program chokes?!? LOL!!
I am as frustrated as anyone that we lost these two games. We are good enough to win, but we didn’t. No shame in either loss though. We will learn from these games and get better. You’ll see.

I agree with some of what you post , and genuinely respect your love for Clemson basketball … but when you try to in any shape or form compare our football program to anything Clemson basketball you just ruin it and make yourself look silly … just stick to your guns and leave the football program that is still in the hunt for the acc with some help I may add, and could end up with 10 wins even with the worst qb play we have seen in a long time around here … I could go on and on, just don’t compare the two it’s not even an adult conversation that should take place. I agree that this team has potential , they look good at times … but unfortunately I think BB brings that down especially in late game situations and will cost us more close losses … with that said it’ll be another 10-12 seed prob and a huge disappointment if this team doesn’t make the tourney and IMO should that happen he should be gone

That sentiment is laughable this year, when we have underachieved big time.
The fact that it’s okay to bash our basketball team but people get all offended when our football team is justifiably noted for underachieving this year speaks volumes about fan support issues.

Judge you appear to to a reasonable person except when it comes to Brad Brownell. Dabo has won what 6 ACC championships, played in 4 national championships, and won 2 national championships in the past 6 years. What has Brad Brownell done in 12 years. Brad seems to be a good guy but he just can’t coach worth a hoot. What is so infuriating is he has blown so many double digit leads in the 2nd half it is absolutely mind boggling not to mention he has to be the worse last 2 minute end of the game coach in the nation. How many of these close games has he loss at the end. How can that happen! Fans are just plain tired of watching him and his lack of coaching ability blow game after game. It is hilarious you criticize Dabo but can find no fault with Brad year after year. Dabo wins championships but Brad only manages to get in the big tournament once in a blue moon and then loses in the first round of the tournament. It makes no sense why you would defend this guy so much unless you have another reason for defending him you are not telling us. But keep defending him buddy because it must be working. He should have been fired years ago but is still there. Go Tigers!

You just don’t want to acknowledge it because you want to paint me as someone who is too hard on Dabo and too forgiving of Brad.
I said earlier tonight that having six players on the court was inexcusable. I also said that in hindsight he should have kept his foot on the gas in the second half.
You and others need to make sure that you don’t view Dabo as being incapable of error. Doing so hurts your arguments.

Six people on the court is absolutely inexcusable. Curious to see how Brownell answers that question in his press conference. Very disappointing game, but to be fair West Virginia had a gigantic home field advantage which is embarrassing since they are so much further away from Charleston than Clemson. But success produces fans and Huggins has delivered on that front more than Brownell. West Virginia was a three seed last year, but they had two guys go pro and two others transfer that we’re good.
I still think this team has promise. Its interesting to me how many of these basketball analyst on television love PJ Hall. I think he has incredible potential. Too bad he apparently had the flu tonight. I like the two transfers, and maybe with time their chemistry with the others will improve. Free throw shooting shooting has to improve. Tough being a Clemson basketball fan, but let’s see what happens.
