Gosh Alum85®, why don't you tell us all about Biden's big accomplishments? That'll sure shut up the Biden doubters.

We're all waiting.

Worst debt to GDP ratio EVER.

That’s the one that says the most and to think he’s pushing more and more pork every day! Keep it up Brandon!

Gee, I wonder why that is. Trump left us $31T in debt and we are coming out of the worst pandemic in over 100 years. Brilliant analysis!

Trumps economy was better with the entire world shut down.

It's ALMOST a shame Trump didn't win the election so you derps could see things would be exactly the same with the economy under him right now. Oh well.

So the president now has ALMOST no impact on the economy? That’s so convenient!

Well, we've beat the "does a President affect US oil production levels" question to death over the last week. I'm solidly in the camp that thinks free to do as they please Oil Corp's control that. I was not in favor of Biden's stimulus package in 3/21. Then again, I wasn't for at least 3 of the 4 stimulus packages under Trump. Did all of these impact today's inflation rate? Yes sir. So does the $22T in excess spending under the Presidents prior to Trump. So does the ongoing supply chain issues. Like used cars up 41%. Why, cause we can't get enough semiconductors from Taiwan for new cars due to the pandemic. The current President's solution, build 2 new semiconductor plants in the US, which is good, but they won't be producing shyd for 4-5 years. Does anyone agree with me that someone in the past 4-6 admins should have thought of this crap beforehand? Same goes to drugs that we get predominately from China. They cut us off and we're ######. Is this all Biden's fault, or the past 4-6 admins fault? The best post Ive seen on the inflation issue:

https://www.tigernet.com/clemson-forum/message/putin-isnt-causing-the-inflation-30468544#30468544

And it shows the inflation rates in several other countries. Is all of it pandemic related? No, but much is and our problems run a lot deeper than the current President. We the people need to start making it politically impossible for 2 branches of our gov. to be anything other than fiscally responsible. Of course, this would be a painful and long process that we've put off for far too long.

Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect: like a man, who hath thought of a good repartee when the discourse is changed, or the company parted; or like a physician, who hath found out an infallible medicine, after the patient is dead.

It’s almost as if 2 years of a global pandemic is bad for the economy or something. Even the Chinese economy is hurting at the moment.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/16/business/economy/china-economy.html

But with growth in his country slowing, demand slackening and debt still at near-record levels, Mr. Xi could face some of the biggest economic challenges since Deng Xiaoping began lifting the country out of its Maoist straitjacket four decades ago.

“I’m afraid that the operation and development of China’s economy in the next several years may be relatively difficult,” Li Daokui, a prominent economist and Chinese government adviser, said in a speech late last month. “Looking at the five years as a whole, it may be the most difficult period since our reform and opening up 40 years ago.
