5 out of the top 15 kickers in 247's list for 2018 are from SC.

Is this normal?

Also, why do top rated kickers not get the star love that other positions get?

#8 kicker, Paxton Brooks. Living in cooterville must have screwed with his brain. Huffing the stench from sCar's campus had to be hard. From 1 dumpster fire to another one almost as bad......poor kid

As for Brooks, he was not offered by USUCK. Clemson didn't offer, Stanford offered him as "preferred" walk-on. UT offered him as a punter. Good kid, good parents. Father was USUCK drum-major.

He has a very strong leg, however, accuracy and consistency were a downfalls.
