That was beyond stupid.

If both teams had been driving the whole field for TD's with ease then maybe you try and keep that cadence, but this has been an ugly offensive game, no need to gift field position and momentum there.

Some SEC clown like Kiffin has some analytics saying going for it on 4th down is worth it a lot more often than previously thought. It is like moneyball except done by people who are bad at math.

Going for it probably is a whole lot better in many situations.

But that wasn't one of them when you look at time/score/field position.

I think coaches get mad that they’re not ahead more because they look down on them so much. So they go for it. It was just stupid.
