That might be allowed by next year- get drafted after 3rd year - NFL for several & return for degree with one year of eligibility left- should hold up in court since individual rights are at stake

Kanak is still listed as a commit to us on most sports sites. He has pushed back his commitment timing. He is more than likely gonna be a Sooner. But who knows?? That is number 13. His flip could move us outside of the top 20 this year. That is before the February sign. Pay close attention to how it affects our ranking if we sign say 4 in February. The quality of the player could be lower but our ranking will increase. Ranking system is a little flawed as it rewards quantity over quality In a lot of cases.

I'd be shocked if Kanak signs with Clemson at this point. He is obviously having second thoughts and has a standing offer from Oklahoma that he received before Venables arrived. Being from Kansas, I would think that OU will be where he ends up unless Venables turns him away.

at the end of Packer and Durham repeat the ACCN ticker ran that he had signed with us but as of now it was clearly in error

Yea 247 still has him committed to us. Wonder what is going on there. Read on TNet he is headed to Oklahoma. Any kind of articles or interviews that led folks to make that assumption?
