I have a grandson who plays for Hanna . I just want to be sure this is not a rumor.

They should have fired the Westside coach after the first Hanna game. Down 7 with less than 2 minutes left in the game, 2 TOs he chooses to punt on 4th down instead of going for it. Guess what happened next. Clock ran out they lose. He quit on the team with that choice. Sorry coaching.

I will be surprised if the Westside coach is out. He's only been there for a year or two and was well thought of when he came there.

The Hanna coach on the other hand...should've been gone a couple of years ago, maybe before that.

And the problem with the district allowing Boggs to stay at Westside is two-folds. The first one will be that Hanna is getting a new coach. There will be a new excitement over that and we may in turn see and immediate transfer of several good athletes to Hanna because they want to play for a new and better coach. The second problem is that Westside had a bunch of kids in the off season workout programs that yielded no results. You will see less excitement in putting in that kind of hard work thus it will be worse next year if the district and new superintendent are going to give him another year.

Independent Mail finally puts it up. Westside coach is out too. Thank goodness. I know it pained AIM to have to run a story about anything involving the Rams. They hate Westside and always have.

have anything to do with one another - other than being in the same district? Obviously some don't understand demographics. Boggs is a good coach in a less than desirable position. If you think you can do better then come volunteer to coach (or take a pay cut and go teach). I am blessed to have career opportunities that allow me to work in the job that I want to work in. These HS coaches aren't getting rich. You wanna ##### about coaches on here, then ##### about college coaches that are making millions. Otherwise, contact your local high school coach and see how you can help work in the local rec. department to build kids that will support the local high schools. I don't live in Anderson 5 but this thread really pisses me off. If you really have a problem then tmail me. DONE

Looks like you had good information. Boggs was announced this morning in the paper. I could believe Fouch getting fired but thought Boggs had more time. Apparently the Supt thought otherwise.
