I hope all of the "just win" crowd are watching gameday

They obviously don't buy into the just won theory.

I did think it was interesting that the 2 guys who's opinions I think hold the most water (David and Herbie) both predict either sec or pac12 being left out.


The one think I like is our coaches ability to "cheerlead"! I think CDS starts lobbying within the next 2-3 weeks as long as we're still undefeated to make it feel like our championship game is FSU, not a discredited Coastal division game. So I do have faith in his ability to make our case.

Either way the just win method is not effective in the current politically and economically driven environment.

Agreed. This happens every year- there are ALWAYS a ton of undefeated teams at this stage in the season and invariably most of them drop one before its all over. I just don't see a scenario where there are 5 undefeated teams at the end of it- or that the CFB committee would leave out an undefeated Clemson team with 2 top 10 wins.

There's a loooong way to go yet- but I like CDS's "this week's game is the biggest game of the year" approach.

The media is dumb. The majority said TCU should be in over Baylor at year end. Yet at the end, the committee had Baylor 5 and TCU 6 because of head to head.

Winning is most important and 13-0 will not be left out. 12-1 will also go before 11-1 Notre Dame

the only way clemson goes 12-1 is if we lose to a terrible coastal team in the ACC CG which i just cant see happening...we'd have waaaaaayyyy too much momentum to drop that game.
