Sam had an eagle, 4 birdies, a bogey and a double bogey on his way to shooting -3 and moving up the Leaderboard 12 positions . . . Finishing @ -7 for the Tournament and in a 3-way Tie for 33rd Place . . . Sam’s payout should be $4688.

Next Up on the KFT??? . . . On Feb 3-6 @ The Panama Championship @ The Panama Golf Club (Panama City - PAN). [The Field has not yet been set.]

Was real proud of Sam. That's 2 eagles for the tourney. He should feel good. He made enough under par holes to win the thing.

He ended the tourney with -21 to par but +14 to par. Too bad we don't have a breakdown on the stats... But he had to have rolled it well.

Kinda felt like Carson gave his chance away. Terrible back 9 on Monday. He's 2 tourneys down and missed both cuts. Needs to really make the most out of the remaining 6 tourneys.

Nimmer and some other fellas won some type of skins game tourney. Anyway, Turk was congratulating them on Instagram. But I don't do that so I don't have specifics. It happened a couple weeks ago.

Anywho, I bring it up because I'd love to know what's up with Turk. Playing very un Turk like. Not only missed the cuts, but missed badly. Hope he's ok.

On the PGA Tour . . . this week we have the Farmers Insurance Open @ Torrey Pines (South) this week . . . We knew, via Schema that Doc and Kyle were playing and that Jonathan was attempting to “Monday Qualify” . . .

Kudos to Jonathan:

Thank you for posting. That was one heck of a team. Which you don't really realize just how good it was until years later. Lucas, wish he'd played since he's been punching it so well. I would imagine it was just a break time since he's played the last several.

Wish some of experts would let us know what's up with Billy. He should have some exemptions.

Hope the druids don't strike but JB had a good round yesterday. Solid to end in t38. Doc, not so much. I've noticed his last 2 starts, his driving and gir has been horrible. Can't score much from the rough. He'll need to go real low today. I see they've already projected -2 and I'm sure it'll go to at least 3. Starting +2 and already 4 off the cut.

Kyle, well he just needs to work on whatever part of the game he's been working. Not a realistic chance on the cut. +8 yesterday.
