WR Speed

WRs with speed and good hands are deadly. Wish we had not missed on some of those over the past few recruiting cycles. Need more of that.

Yes, we do not have a true deep threat, no 1 w/ sprinter speed. We have not made much of an effort to recruit a burner; opting for the taller possession-type WR(decent hands, 4.60 or slower) over & over & over again. There is multiple duplication of this skill set (possession WR)w/in the pos group currently on the roster. In late Oct 2019 we made a push for a WR w/ good size(6'1",187lbs), good hands but also world class sprinter's speed>Arian Smith. We got in w/ him way too late, it amounted to a half-@ssed effort(to acquire elite speed at WR) at best and he signed w/ Georgia in the ESP.

we have that with EJ Williams. Rogers was no slouch for us this past year.

We see w smith or waddle for bama or Wilson/Olave prob either. We’ve lacked a burner for a while now it seems

I’m assuming poster is referring to players like waddle, smith, Riggs. Etc. Neither Williams or Rogers are that fast.
