Good Luck in your Bowl Game

I have to start off with saying I am a USC fan...
That being said, my Uncle is a Clemson Alum...and I pull for Clemson Football 364 days a year.
I 100% enjoyed watching you guys beat LSU last year, and I hope you take care of whoever you end up playing in your bowl game.
As far as the rivalry goes... The gap has certainly closed. In the past we were just bigger, stronger and faster than you. We could run on you and you were helpless to stop it.
That is no longer the case. Other than QB draws, we struggled against your defense. I feel your Defensive Coordinator is doing very well.
That leads me to my next point, why did you guys try a trick play on during the first drive? Your standard offense was moving the ball. USC has struggled during the opening drive all year. That would have been a good time for you guys to get 7 or even just 3.
Clemson is a very talented team, and if you guys just line up and "play football" you will beat most teams you play.
I don't get why you guys got "cute" against us. Danny Ford never got cute with us. He ran FB dives until we stopped it...there were years where we never stopped it...
Anyways, it is cool that both teams are headed in a good direction. I think Dabo will improve BTW as a game day X's and O's type coach. He is already a great recruiter and ambassador for your university.
Well, Good luck and look forward to playing you next year.

I think most would agree that the call was not a very good one. If it is completed, it's a different story. Some (myself included) also question the playcalling from last year's game. No screen passes and we got away from running the ball in the 2nd half.

Difference is in that game we got torched in the air Saturday we dominated on both lines just couldn't do what we had to do to win

When the other teams fans are genuinely concerned as to why you don't just play basic fundamental football.
Why did we run a trick play on the first drive? We have no idea man.
Why didn't we put two spies on Shaw and make him throw it to win? I don't know.
It's just sad. This Fan probably saw the 'talent' and 'potential' of our team and actually wanted a hard fought battle of a game that came down to the wire and he was disappointed when we just handed him the game in the third quarter.
Now watch, we'll play Bama and show out and all will be right with the world again... I hope.
A&M would be nice in the Peach bowl... that would be 59-56 in a shootout as they have our defense from a few years ago...

Well that's thing.
USC used to have to have "Kitchen sink" games to have a chance to beat Clemson.
Fake punts Random Onside Kicks Flea Flickers
When a team pulls that stuff early in a game...makes me wonder how much confidence the coaching staff has in their base offense.
A little Razzle Dazzle is fun...but there is a reason Oregon has not won a meaningful game...
To me Clemson's roots has always been intense defense and a punishing running game...a la Danny Ford.
I am sure some of you guys are familiar with "Riverboat Ron" the Carolina Panthers coach.
I have a feeling eventually Dabo will "get it" and change for the better. His players love him and love playing for him. That goes a long way.

No, its not sarcasm.
I live in Washington due to me sticking around here from my Military days. I have traveled back east for Bowl games though.
Sports are the low hanging fruit that makes a great subject to discuss with my East Coast family. We even have a "Family Pick'ems" which opens up a nice fun dialogue with myself, my cousins, aunts uncles and grandparents.
My Uncle is a Clemson Alum and I like being able to chat with him and us not needle each other.
I pull for Clemson 364 days a year. To be truthful, nothing would be sweeter to than to beat an 11-0 Clemson team and knock you guys out of the National Championship picture. I am sure you feel the same way?
I have probably been to about a dozen Clemson games and a dozen USC games.
Both atmospheres are electric. I would say there are good fans on both sides...and jerks on both sides.
The first day after the "Game" this year, it was funny watching some of you have a melt down. I have been there, so I do not feel guilty.
That being said, I am not here to antagonize you guys at all. I do find it odd that some of you are wanting to run off Dabo. Up here (in Washington) there are a lot of ticked off fans due to Sarkisian leaving. Literally...they are saying "Kiffin screwed us again!"
Anyway, sometimes you don't know what you have until its gone.

it IF it had worked. But, the truth is this type of play "may" indicate that the Clemson coaching staff was worried about it's offensive ability over the long-haul, and wanted to get 7 easy ones..Quick.
Who knows....but, GoTiGERS!

Gotta admit, not an MD...I am a CT Tech.
But I am more proud of being a Military war vet.
Also, I like needling the Pacific Northwesterners about their PAC12 football.
I like our Southeastern Football (not SEC...I mean Southeastern/Southern).
And yes...MDs can be idiots. I work with a few that I wouldn't let touch my 2 dogs. And if they were mechanics...I wouldn't let them change my windshield wiper fluid lol.

previous 4 years we were outplayed for at least half of the game, their appeared to be a talent gap especially in the d-line and LB play. This year going into the 3rd turnover, I really thought it was a matter of time before we pulled away (if we just limited mistakes). We then proceeded to commit 4 2nd half turnovers.
Play that game 100 times and how many times does AH fumble 2 punts?
