ever since the beating streeter took in 98 to his defense, he has had our respect. That, and he is arguablely the best defensive backs coach at this level.

Some respect, absolutely. He's probably above average, but not elite as a coordinator. His defenses have been torched in big games numerous times over the years.

VT won games with defense and special teams. Back then and out there VT could hang with just about anybody. When VT moved to the milkyway they soon faced a new adversary who opposed their domination of special teams and defense. Dabo was and Dabo realized the force. Dabo developed a plan and a team that outplayed VT on special teams and overwhelmed VT's defense with offensive weaponry the likes of which
VT never saw in their other conference. VT's evil empire built on defense and special teams fell, never to rise again.
