another season like he had this year and his stock drops drastically. Make the move now while TAMU wants you and willing to pay big money for you.

There's something amiss, culture-wise, in Tallahassee. I don't know if Jimbo is part of it, or incapable of overcoming it, but something isn't right. A move might be good for him, especially if he's dealing with 'demons' we can't see.

The truth about Jimbo is he leans a little more towards Dabo than he ever did Bobby. He's tried to fight that "Boys will be Boys" culture down there.Not saying he's Dabo like, just saying he's not Old Bobby FSU type either.
Remember when Ole Winston was suspended ? He still dressed, thought the boosters and AD were gonna over rule Jimbo .
If A&M is gonna give him that much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, he'll have total control.

Not disputing this but I don't understand this move. FSU just needs a major makeover within the program, they have great talent and recruiting and besides us, who else will compete in this division? Cross Louisville off that list and take NC State off too they're losing about 30 seniors.
Why anyone would want to coach TAMU in the SEC West against Bama, Auburn, an upcoming LSU, I have no clue. Now if TAMU is sitting in the SEC East, that would make some sense.

Jimbo is fighting an uphill battle down there when it comes to institutional control. The inmates are definitely running the asylum at FSU.

On First Team (XM) this morning, they seemed to think Jimbo to aTm is a sure thing - McElroy was even throwing out figures. Even though it's not Clemson related, this will surely have implications for us. I'm genuinely curious who they'll get - FSU isn't the type of school to hire an up and comer.

probably take a lot of $$ to get him, but he might just be the man to turn things around down there in Tallahassee. If facilities are the issue, who better to address that? Look at what he did for our facilities! And the Bowden legacy would certainly get the big donor fan base fired up.
I think this is the job Tommy has been holding out for. This is his time. Get ready to “Fear the Spear” once again.
