I have to be honest, I have been worrying that the UGA DL was going to just dominate our OL making the game very difficult. So, I went and watched the UF v UGA game last year and came away a lot more confident. UF was able keep some balance with 97 yds rushing (37 attempts) and generally held their own on the LOS. If we can replicate that, I really like our chances.

I feel good about the game too because thank goodness, last year has nothing to do with this year. If you watched games last year you wasted your time because our OL was terrible and could not block for the best RB we have ever had. Forget about last year, this is a new year.

I was watching UGA as I expect their defense to be almost identical along their defensive front 7.

I agree with you that our OL should be better and looking at last year will not be representative. My real concern there is just game 1. It seems clear that the interior OL is a work-in-progress and it may take a couple of games to shake out. This is true for both teams’ OL so could end up a wash, but still a concern.
