With I think the majority of Clemson Fans believing that

Tony Elliott is a pretty bad offensive play caller, who would you like to see him replaced at OC, and QB coach that Dabo could probably get to come to Clemson?

I don't think Streeter's going anywhere anytime soon. His ability -- or lake thereof -- to develop a top-shelf QB prospect concerns me. I'd like to see David Cutcliffe involved but that seems unlikely given his age. But that would be a nice coup when trying to land a certain kid named Arch

Streeter is actually ranked as the 3rd best QB coach in the nation behind Lincoln Riley and Jeff Lebby. Sometimes it's just not the coach.

Just a note. (This is not a jab at Streeter. I don't know enough to have an opinion.)

But, look at who is #10 on the ranking.

Q: What does it take to make a great coach?
A: Great players.

That would definitely be the case for #25.

I mean how do they even measure that? Jeff Lebby has coached QBs for like 2 yrs of his life and played Oline in high school. I don't even think he played in college. I think bringing the innovative offense to ole miss from Baylor and having kiffin around helps. Kiffin is the actual guru there.

I think "most" Clemson fans have been very content with our

offensive output since Tony has been the primary playcaller.

Consider (yet again) the results:

> 6 straight playoffs
> 4 national championship games
> 2 national championships
> #2, #1, #4, #1, #2, #4 rankings (by far the best run in Clemson history)
> 2nd most wins in playoff era
> 2nd most playoff wins

We accomplished all this largely based on a balanced, explosive, and a consistently ranked top 10 offense (except for K. Bryant year).

Most Clemson fans understand this. Most Clemson fans understand it takes more than some good players to accomplish all that we have. Many teams have equal or better talent and haven't accomplished nearly as much as us.. The accomplishments are obviously the best in our history, and over 6 years are a historical marker in the entire history of college football. This doesn't happen with a playcaller who doesn't know what he's doing.

In one season where we've struggled at QB, blocking, and health and consistency at wide receiver, most Clemson fans can plainly see the main issue is not due to any changes in the proven playcalling. The issue falls in execution.

By the way, we were 4-3 at one point. We're now 9-3 with a dominating win over the ranked, division champion, and we made fools of UofSC. We did this in spite of poor passing accuracy and fundamentals at QB, an ever-changing (young) OL, youth and depth issues at RB, and having to start a coach's son and utilize a walk-on at wide receiver due to immense attrition.

We adapted and scrapped out 9 wins with a chance at 10 wins. The coaching staff, including playcalling, deserves kudos for keeping this team together and engaged, and finding plays that we can actually execute and win game with.

Elliott isn't going anywhere, unless he chooses to do so. And based on his unprecedented record as OC, we should hope he stays. I don't know about you, but I think playoffs and national championships are pretty cool.

Yep, no doubt a vocal minority.

Can anyone actually name a current OC with more of a sustained run and more accomplishments?
