I coached a 'll team like that one time. If our top 4 guys didn't score we didn't score. My goal was for the bottom 6 guys to get a hit sometime during the year. I think all but one guy ended up with a hit.

I have confidence in Chris Williams. He was 2 for 3 today and a great defensive play in the ninrh.

One of William's "hits" was booted by the 2nd baseman and should have been a double play. His out was a pop up to the infield at a terrible time. He is a miss. Nothing wrong with that, but he came here as a hitter and it's not the case. I'd like to see someone else get a shot at 1B and 3B Tuesday.

The good thing is batting 1-5 is beyond solid!

His OBP is .340 which is pretty respectable considering he's been slumping. For comparison, Rohlman's is only 5 points higher. Still very early in the season but no reason to think the kid can't turn it around.

The bottom of our lineup accounted for 1/2 our runs and kept us in the game. The top 2 went 1-10. Why aren't you dissing on them? Bottom line is this team does what it needs to do. Guys step up.
