Willy Korn offensive coordinator

Nov 13, 2021, 7:47 PM

I still think the answer to our offense is bringing in Willy Korn. Even if you keep Tony Elliot I think adding Willy Korn to the equation would add imagination and explosiveness to the offense. Dabo seems to like former players so why not bring Willy Korn back to clemson he would come.

1969.

Well I certainly hope we can make it 7 in a row over the coots. After tonight I think we’ve got a good chance. I think our defense is good enough and the coots can’t stop Shipley Maffah and Pace. I think we beat the coots

Not necessarily a bad thing.

Korn is good but too young for OC. Needs more exposure but being an assistant would be a good thing. Don't know if he would accept that.

The last thing we need is another former player with little or no experience.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I’d like a break from former players as coaches.***

I agree. 100%.

He's done extremely well at Coastal.

Korn was way too star-crossed at Clemson for me to want

Nov 13, 2021, 8:14 PM

to bring that kind of mojo back to town.

So you want to run the option, screens, reverses in an up tempo offense. Great defense will crush that just like we crushed the last few yrs of Pawl. Their offense has a bunch of motion, short passes and a way above average 6th yr QB for that league. We don't have a QB to run that offense and probably only Kelly Bryant could have in recent years.

No thank you! Just because you see the wins and highlights, you need to think about what you have. No reason to have 10WRs 6'4" and need duel threat QBs along with smaller OL that would get crushed by bigs DLs.

While I think there are some plays that could be stolen, I do not think Korn is even 10yrs close to taking over an elite program. Very confused about all the Korn love other than the W-L numbers.

Clemson would shut them down even with our injured crew.

Coastal's offense looks nothing like Paul Johnson's. If you don't know anything other than it is an option scheme, just don't comment. McCall is only a sophomore which shows your lack of knowledge of the situation as well.

So, one day there's to many ex-Tigers coaching and it's nepotism and today it's bring in Willy Korn an ex-Tiger. Which one is it? Maybe I'm mistaken and it doesn't count as him being an ex-Clemson Tiger since he finished his playing career at North Greenville?
