Oh goodie, another let’s bash DJ post.
I just don’t know why a couple of you know-it-alls don’t go over to Clemson and show DJ and Dabo how it’s done. There is a lot of difference between sitting on your couch or in your numbered seat and being out on the field.
DJ is in front of 80,000 screaming fans many of which are like you guys. They cuss at him and call him names and vocally make their displeasure of him known far and wide. He has 10 other of his teammates in front of him running in every direction and being pushed back into him. He also has 11 opponents running in all directions, waving their hands in front of his face and trying to put him on his backside. How many of you have had 4 or 5 six foot 4 inch 300 pounders charging at your trying to drive you into the ground. I think he can be excused for not seeing every little thing on the field like you experts do.

Not bashing DJ in the slightest I bet it’s very easy to miss during live action, was posting one to highlight Williams skill at gaining separation and two said I’m hoping they are pointing out this in film study this week as I’m sure they are. DJ has played light years better this year not one of the bash DJ crowd

There was another play, at the end of the first half I think, where A Williams was open on an out route to the end zone. DJ didn’t see him, and threw it to the flat for minimal gain. The safety covering Williams had bit hard on the screen before DJ threw it, leaving Williams wide open. If I remember right, that was the drive where we ended up having to kick the FG to go to 13 pts
Not to bash anyone at all. DJ is doing light years better than last year. It’s just good seeing a receiver who consistently gets that open. If DJ starts clicking with him, then the offense will only be that much better.

Just Watch All The Games, and you will see no less than 4-6 clear as day passing TDs that DJ could have had on this season in just 3 games, and all he had to do was open his eye. I'm starting to believe that he can't see past his face mask, and needs to be adjusted or removed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Antonio's always going to be open vs man coverage particularly if it's press man because his short area quickness and releases are insane (he just doesn't have great long speed IMO). DBs won't be able to stay with him. If DJ can recognize man coverage pre and post snap, Antonio should be his first read. He will be open immediately. If DJ is holding the ball too long in man coverage, it'll be his own fault.

I see the same things that you do and you know the coaches clearly see when they review game film SO why does it continue ?
