I feel more confident about the chances an asteroid will hit earth and kill us all in the next five minutes than the chances the coots will win a natty in the next 100 years.

Well, one the climate crisis is real. 2, we'll all be dead before it overwhelmed planet earth so no one will see it. 3, Shane is off to a good start so I wouldn't bet against it. Better than average chance in the next decade. Jmho.

Climate change is real but I would say that "crisis" is debatable depending how you define one. You say that we will all be dead before it overwhelms the planet. If that is the case, I am not sure that I would call that a crisis.

Don’t believe in a climate crisis seeing that according to those that predicted the years we were to have been destroyed have came and passed multiple times already. If you do believe in a climate crisis to each their own. I’m just mentioning my view not that it makes a difference as it was brought up in the discussion. I also feel very confident that SC will never win a National Championship or a conf championship. When you talk about culture not real sure what the issues are down there but something has always been off in my opinion. Shane I believe to be a good coach but they have had those in the past.

Beamer was the one I hoped they wouldn't hire, but as you say, something has been amiss there for a long time. If Holtz and Spurrier couldn't get it done, I can't expect others would.

If not, then there is no chance they even sniff the playoffs, much less win the whole thing. And the answer is no, they will not consistently bring in top ten classes, so the argument is entirely moot.
