Will the NCAA crack down on Tennessee’s behavior?

Jun 12, 2022, 12:17 PM

From the top down it has been an embarrassment. Their implosion in Game One against Notre Dame. The utter disrespect for the umpires (Regional and Super Regional). The constant f’bombing. Flipping the bird at your opponent (Regional). And let’s not forget the class acts in the stands. If Tennessee makes it to Omaha it’s going to be a black eye for the NCAA if they don’t do anything (which I expect).

Rant over. Go Irish (never thought I’d say that).

Not a chance. They are in the SEC. The SEC controls the actions of the NCAA. That is why their member schools only get a slap on the wrist rather than probation.

Typical of Tennessee. Look at the crap they did at a football game. Same thing. Not going to change. Trash will be trash.

Yet yesterday the NCAA banned the hammer that Va Tech had in their dugout. They said that anything that was there for intimidation or showed poor sportsmanship was not allowed. Does flipping the other team and umpires not constitute poor sportsmanship on the part of Tennessee?
