Will the Gamecocks be looking for a new

baseball coach in a few years? Since Tanner the gamecocks have been knocked out of the playoffs in back to back years by and ACC team. Last year UNC beat them in Chapel Hill, this year Maryland beats them in Columbia. To gamecock fans ACC teams are like a T-Ball team compared to the mighty SEC teams. Oh it's got to sting that pride of the chickens to lose to the ACC.


Two season as the head coach no super regional host, no CWS trip, this year no trip to the super regional. Things are sliding in chicken land.

Tanner did an extraordinary job. Hard to follow a legend. I give it 2 more seasons and they will have a new baseball coach in chickenland. Tanner does not want to fire his handpicked successor but his decision may be forced.

get a life. whether USuC has a good baseball program or not doesn't effect our baseball program at all. It's childish but if transferring your frustration from our program to theirs helps you justify the direction of ours then by all means go right ahead.

returning to their old self and with the basketball team id awful shape, things will return to normal. Coincidentally, our basketball program is picking up, we have one of the best football recruiting classes in the nation and-----well who knows about baseball at this point, but it could get very interesting-----we will be back where we belong as well! Go TIGERS!!

Basketball program is worse now than it was 6 years ago. And this year making NIt will be a fight..so dont get that point


Football: How is SC going backwards. They are top 5 in recruiting. The scary thing is they have been beating our ##### with top 30 classes. You give them top 5 and they might make the playoffs.

But yea holbrook is toast after next year if he cant make omaha.
