I am torn here. I hate ND. I dislike Marcus Freeman for his comments earlier this year. But ND cratering does not help the Buckeyes strength of schedule. Oh well, down with ND and aTm while we are at it. This may be the only time in my life I pull for Miami.

He basically said Ohio State isn't as rigorous about academics as Notre Dame. Personally, I liked how Cardale Jones put it better: "We ain't come here to play school!"

He said something like he wouldnt make the same mistake twice (as in picking Ohio State over ND as a player and a coach). Never mind he won a NC at Ohio State. If he went to ND he would have played under the great Ty Willingham. The academic stuff wasnt the greatest but what can you do?

They have 49 4* players on their roster (along with 2 5*s). So they have better players than every team on their schedule except Clemson. They're slightly better than USC, but I think they'll lose playing @ USC.
Their problem is coaching, not players.
How will that impact recruiting? Probably a little. Nobody wants to go to a school that loses to Marshall. I'd say 8-4 is a reasonable, if hopeful, target for the Irish this season.

Well with the qb out for the season it is likely they could tank. Hopefully they end up half descent. My neighbor has already thrown the season in the garbage.
