What sucks is that both are going to go to South Carolina.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Will it really matter??

Jun 28, 2013, 10:21 AM

If these two commit to the dirtpeckers???

Especially if WE GET Scott, Quinn or Thompson??

We already HAVE Kitt, which is much more attractive than either one of these two future hens.

What I want to know is how we can "miss" on two GAFFNEY Boys from our own backyard???

I guess we will have to "settle" (big grin here) on those Jawja boys! 8-)

Go Tigers!!!!

If the two from Ga are better, I'm fine with that. Maybe they know playing time would be available in Cootville and not in Tiger Town.

Yeah, with the stockpile of talent yall have I can see why they would choose us. It is really amazing we ever win a game against you guys. I guess its possible that recruiting analysts do not always know what they are talking about but I don't see why we should assume that. I mean we are talking about a bunch of high schoolers that no one has seen play against college competition. We have to either trust the coaching staff and their evals or a bunch of journalists. Not sure why we would think the coaches at the school that keeps winning might actually be better then the ones at the school that keeps losing. That would make sense but we can't question the recruiting analysts can we?

Mark we hardly ever go after the same prospects. Bone and Davidson are good receivers. Our coaches decided to go in a different direction. No need to get ill.

Not upset. Being tongue in cheek. Just think its hilarious how any recruit we get wouldnt have been as good as the ones yall wipp get at that position. And I know our fans do it too. Like u said we dont battle for a lot of kids anymore but the fact is that 99% of fans really know which recruit is better. They believe the analysts until their staff takes a lower ranked guy and then they decide he is a diamond in the rough. None of us know which recruits are really better until they get to school and perform.

Meant 99% of fans do not know.

Why do you coots troll the boards all of the time. Are you that insecure that you need to check up on us all the time. I guess I would be insecure too if I had an inferior team and city as opposed to Clemson. I know, I know, you have beaten us a few times in a row. Win 30 more in a row and then we can call it a rivalry. We all know that when The Ole Ball Coach retires you will go back to being USuCk so just get it in while you can.

It must be something in the Clemson education because y'all claim that our record against y'all and its not a rivalry because y'all have beat us so many times. But yet UGA has toe drug and dry humped CU on both sides of the state line but CU and UGA have a rivalry. There must be something in those hills? Maybe that's why Dabo is all confused about whose been stomping a mud hole and walking it dry.

I would say the main reason why we lost to Georgia so many times is that for the longest time we played on there home field. Since the home and away series began it's fairly even and the 1980's UGA VS Clemson game was one of the best rivalries in all of CFB. the real funny thing is even though we had to go to Columbia to play you guys every year for almost 60 years straight we still managed beat your feathers off all those years and it git even worse when you started coming to DV.

LOL...this guy has a short memory...

Jun 28, 2013, 11:48 AM

Shaq is a good receiver

Jun 28, 2013, 1:31 PM

I'm a little disappointed we didn't go after him harder, but it seemed he was a big coot lean from the beginning. He will be pretty good I think.

However, if there is one position we can afford to miss on a recruit it is WR (and probably LB). I am perfectly happy with Kitt, Scott, and Quinn/Thompson.

And seriously why is it that every board I look at there are Scar fans on there commenting. Seriously dude get a life, you have nothing better to do than read all of the Clemson boards? You know there is a website for Carolina fans too...

Probably would've had him if we'd offered the Gaffney WR who went to UNC last year

Jun 30, 2013, 12:24 PM [ in reply to Re: Recruiting Update: In-state WR ready to announce ]

they don't relish the competition to earn a starting spot, they just want one given' to them. good enough for you. ( and true, too)
