Why the BCS is BS

How can any 2 loss team with no chance of making it to the championship be ranked anywhere near the top ten? My thought is the BSC totally fails to take into account potential to get into the top four.
Under this thought if Clemson wins out and wins the ACC they stand a better chance than most ranked inside the top ten to make it into the top four. Thus they really should be ranked no lower than 9 or 10 at this point.

So it do with ranking teams to make the playoffs? Why rank any team for the playoffs?
Underscores what I meant ti say about the CFP being BS..... Sorry I typed BCS. Old man stuck in the past.
Seems like the bcs or the AP poll for that matter. Why not use the coaches poll or perhaps just call you?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here.
The CFP is a measure of the season to date. It is not a prediction of "well if LSU wins out they will be #X". The committee is very consistently clear about that fact.
The truth is, the rankings right now don't matter at all. They are for fan interest, media interest, and money.
The final rankings obviously matter, and for what it's worth, this has clearly been the best method yet of determining a national champion. It's an actual committee, diversified both in geographical location and conference affiliation, weighing several tangible factors, applying logic, and coming to a consensus.
The BCS was a consolidated poll of polls and computer rankings. The AP poll is a bunch of biased writers, the coaches poll is a bunch of biased coaches (or their assigned admin assistant that fills it out because the coach is too busy being a coach).

We wet the CFP bed at ND for the whole nation to see, including the voters. What part of our offense that we all saw Saturday night makes you or anyone think we’re worthy. We weren’t prepared and our coaches admittedly never saw the train wreck coming. Hopefully we can get everything on track to win the ACC.
