Why send the runner there?!

I know we have been terrible with RISP but we’re sending one of the slowest guys on the team on a short fly with only 1 out and the lead off guy coming up with runners on 3rd and 2nd. That’s awful baseball

The way this team is hitting, I can live with the call. The kid made a perfect throw . I rather see them get out like that than hitting little weak grounders or striking out .

I know the hitting has been pathetic but you gotta trust the top of your lineup. If it was Meredith or Hall or a speedy guy, no doubt send him on that one but Hawkins isn’t particularly fast

Didn’t like the end result :). Perfect play by them. Replay bit us that time- no brainer call after seeing that.
