Why never a great punter signee....

Great find there on the kicker and all that, but when Spiers retires from college football in his late 30's, are we going to get a great punter like all the other teams have?

Humor aside, is is just that we have such a great offense year after year that we kinda' don't emphasize the punter?

Please, Clemson Paw, answer.

IMO Spiers has improved each year.
Also his dad heads up special teams.??
And he is our 5th string QB! ??

Aidan Swanson.

He's a left-footer punter and kicker. Before Clemson, he was ranked as the third-best punter in the nation by PrepStar and Rivals and the fourth-best punter by 247Sports.

He enters the 2021 season averaging about 38 yards per punt which is roughly 3 yards less than Spires but I'm told the competition is actually much closer than that.
