What the heck is 180.. hut ..hut??

Numerous quarterbacks in the NFL are calling out 180 when they're calling signals at the line.

Why is that the only number called out majority of the time?

Because they used to support the American Military and Law Enforcement. Used to, but did a 180.

It's actually "white 80", not "180". They are just signaling to the team that they are ready to run the play with a cadence that's easy to hear and distinguish from the other noise going on.
