This obsession with Covid needs to stop now, if not sooner! Good lort. It would be one thing if it had a mortality rate of more than 1%, but it is even lower than that at the age group these athletes are in. If we are so concerned about the one in a million case of catastrophe with a risk, then we should be just as worried about the flu, the cold, etc.

Consider that in just two years COVID-19 has killed twice as many Americans as were killed in WWII and Korea combined.
Not long from now when we hit 1 million deaths, COVID-19 will have killed 1 in every 330 Americans. How many has the common cold killed in the last two years?

And if you don’t feel comfortable working at such places, don’t work there.
The solution is simple. Let everyone choose to take the risks they wish to take and opt out if they don’t want to take risks.

fed up with being overrun by covid in the hospital, and we just go get different jobs as you suggested, how's that going to work out when you need hospital help for that stroke, heart attack, car accident, etc..
Guess what, mass exodus from hospital WILL happen with another wave like Delta. I'm sick of watching people who need critical care sit in the ER bc we triage the sickest patients and bring them to the ICU first... and guess who is always the sickest in the ER?? CORRECT!!! Unvax covid patients.
I'm not down with mandates, businesses need to be open, I fly, I go to sporting events, I go to concerts and dinners and bars, but I also am vax, mask up, and test frequently. If people would just be willing to take those simple measures, most of this wouldn't be an issue.
How about instead of bitchin, people just do their part to help propel us all forward.

How about, now 2 years in, ALL of the doctors and medical staff unite in demanding that the US Govt actively ALLOW all FLCCC protocol drugs? If they TRULY cared about stopping COVID they would not have thwarted, demonized, suppressed (essentially outlawed) proven safe (though cheap and off patent) drugs that have been proven effective worldwide since the spring of 2020.
If u think this is untrue, u simply have not done your research.
However, even if these near 100% successes w early treatment or even prophylactically are mere coincidence, why, at this point should there be ANY resistance in allowing FULL use by anyone of Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Budesonide, etc.?
If u truly work at a hospital, please share w all your facility’s early treatment protocol for a newly positive COVID case?
Please also share your facility’s standard of care protocol for those finally at the “having trouble breathing” stage?
Finally, please share the billing amounts your facility receives from insurance/govt for your predictable use of remdesivir and the ventilator?
Has your facility even ONCE attempted the FLCCC protocols or ANY of the meds/combinations they have found successful?

They have conflated that number just to make it seem way worse than it truly is to create fear and to control. Many folks who had deaths “attributed” to Covid would have died if they got the flu too. Underlying conditions were there and they were teetering just trying not to get anything that would tax their system. “Attributed to Covid”… ??

You think it’s just a few deaths. Well I have lost 14 relatives in the last 14 months, and only 2 were over 65. And i’ve never lost any relatives because of a cold or the flu. And, you are not correct to say one in 330 because you are not citing the time frame. Typically these citations are on an annual basis, which your figure is not.
Millions have already been killed in traffic accidents. Millions killed by prescription drugs and fentanyl. Where's your concern over those?

Not giving a yearly rate. Just saying we are closing in on 1 million dead. Population of 330 million has not changed much in last 2 years. That is roughly 1 in 330 ratio.
You can ignore and pooh pooh COVID all you want. I don’t care if you are that ignorant. Don’t get the vaccine and don’t wear a mask. I don’t care. But I have severe emphysema and know that if I catch COVID-19 it is a death sentence for me.
And, yes, we lose about 35,000 a year in car accidents. But that is a far cry from 415,000 a year we lose to COVID.

How does commen sense say get vaccinated? I have been out and about for 2 years with covid going on and I am fine. Why would I take the risk of getting vaccinated?? It doesn't make any sense for me to. Please explain. My wife, mother in law, and grand mother in law have had covid and I didn't get it and they are fine. Why would I get vaccinated where there is a risk, though very small, of a side effect? Common sense says for me to not take that risk.

I did. 1/330 = 0.0030303. That’s 0.3% which is way less than 1.0% not even a half of a percent.
AND
you are looking at a total number since 2020. That’s two years. Heart disease and Cancer kill over 600k annually (on average).

I would imagine with how the first part of Brandon’s Presidency has gone, he’s going to need a strong mail-in vote count to keep the house/senate.
I would like to see Covid death count numbers vs drug use death counts. Open borders kills more Americans than Covid could ever hope, and that falls on years of Democrats and Republicans refusing to protect Americans at the Southern border. Eliminate Oxy /Fenantyl and other abuse of pain drugs in this country and you’ll actually do something positive. Viruses are part of life and will always be here as long as we are here

The south is an embarassment to the USA. Just a cesspool of uneducated masses that get their 'news' from facebook and a guy who got famous making people at bugs. I'm embarrassed to be associated with you people.
The USA is ranked around 30th in the world in education and the southern states are dead last in the USA. It's basically 3rd world country idiots who 'just know better' its embarrassing.
