he is trying to curry favore and be dragged to a larger market by DJ. Well lets face it any market is larger but walt is way over his head at WCCP. And a big reason I dont listen to them,

I stopped listening to Walt about a month ago. Just couldn't take him anymore. His arrogance and the callers ignorance is just too much.

He loves power arms. Does matter about accuracy. He will put money on all the power arms to be good and he’ll probably be right 75% of the time. Then he’ll make sure we all know he’s 75% correct.
To me for college ball I’d much rather have a gamer and a winner even if they don’t have NFL potential. I am still rooting hard for DJ to succeed. We all need to because if he gets beat out then he’s going to transfer.

The more important question is why are so called Clemson supporters on TigerNet constantly trashing players and coaches in all sports? Support the entire program, love the wins, hate the losses but leave childish blame out of it. Win together, lose together.

I am really pulling hard for DJ this year. He went through a tough year last year and took a lot of criticism. That’s hard for anyone of any age to deal with.

I remember him doing the same thing with Kelly Bryant said he'd start the whole year. He said Kelly was Deshaun but faster, same thing with DJ he hyped him up to be a NFL 1st rounder and Walt's gonna ride that take out until he can't anymore its what he does lol

DJ Should Be The Starter Until Proven Otherwise. I think we win the 1st three games, even with Will Muschamp as QB. By the 4th game, Dabo and team will know for certain DJ's trajectory and will have had time to get Cade more prepared.
This strategy allows Dabo to show support for a current starter which is not common nowadays and is part of the Clemson culture. It hopefully gets Cade 3-4 quarters of play without immense pressure and if the DJ problem was broader (Parent's Divorce, NIL fatness and complacency, O-Line and WR weakness) then we will know very quickly as DJ will start with a loaded offense (relatively speaking).
The smart money is on giving DJ 100% support and then after game 3 making the call.

IDK but I listened to that episode where he and the fill in producer were arguing about whether or not other better QBs would have given us more wins last year or not. Walt was adamant that not even Tom Brady would have done better last year. Which is a dumb comment. Eventually in the later segments he starts to back peddle saying he meant Cade couldn’t do better as a true freshman and he didn’t mean no other QB.
I just watched the whole WF vs CU game and even though we won comfortably DJ made numerous bad throws that were way off target and the receiver was open. Walt can say all day that it was all out receivers fault and while that didn’t help last year DJ killed drives many many times with bad throws.
