Budapest seems an interesting odd choice for the first ever CPAC to be held in Europe and having this guy as your headliner?
Is this guy not considered extreme? Is he the new normal for the right wing?
What about the timing given the Russian invasion of Ukraine and Orban's support of Putin and his war? Disheartening for the Ukrainians fighting for their country. Who cares?
Crazy.

More than many want to admit. People may need to pay a bit more attention to what he is saying if they want to know more about the direction of the conservative movement within the Republican Party.
Does his support of Putin and his invasion of Ukraine cause any concern?

He is beholden to Putin for gas and oil just like the rest of Europe. The rest of Europe is just feigning fake outrage to keep those U.S. dollars flowing while moving the Russian oil coming in to the back door. It’s all blsht.

It's always fascinating watching a sociopath try to explain the reasoning of non-sociopaths. It's always deeply confusing for them. They literally do not understand that everybody is not like them, and it's a bit like watching a Cro-Magnon try to fly a 747.

When you're trying to turn America into Hungary, you're an existential threat to the country.
Orban calls it "illiberal democracy", which isn't a thing. Everybody else calls it "soft fascism", a democracy that's been gerrymandered to death and is now just an authoritarian dictatorship with a democratic wrapper.
The fact that anybody would regard Joe freaking Biden as an authoritarian means there's a very big segment of the GOP that has lost their everfreaking minds.

They don't even seem to freaking care how things look anymore. They've gone straight Fascist and know they've got Fox News to package it up for them.
I mean, Tom's on another thread literally quoting RT and the Derp Brigade is derping away on command like there's nothing wrong with citing clips from a military enemy of America that's even now committing daily war crimes and has probably killed close to 100,000 civilians in Ukraine and displaced millions of others.
