Why did Arians not take Goodwin to Tampa with him?

Not meant as a knock on Goodwin, im actually pretty excited about the possibility, im just wondering why... if Arians saw so much potential that he didn't carry him over with his staff at Tampa? Was Goodwin offered and turned it down?

Arians took a year off I believe.

There was no job for Goodwin to go somewhere immediately with Arians.

I know the original story implies that Mr. Arians departed the Arizona Cardinal organization on his own accord, he did not. That was a polite way of saying the Mr. Arians was fired.
