Who’s played more games than Clemson over the past 3 seasons?

Among major colleges, no one to this point. We’ve played over half a season of extra games (7). With the corresponding practices, that’s a lot of extra experience (probably some wear and tear too). Above all, it is a testament that, for Clemson players and coaches, best is indeed the standard.

Alabama didn't play a conference championship game this year, so they've played one less than Clemson.

Most of the actual practice time will come before the bowl.

Clemson has a few more days of practice over bama...

You only get about a week more of practice between cfp game 1 and game 2. A couple of those days are jammed with events and media BS.

I don't know how much extra , actual physical practice you get by being in the playoffs.
