Who's planning on watching the softball game today?

I'm going to try to stream it at work and keep up as best as I can. This is one outstanding team we have put together. First full year and we win the ACC regular season championship! No Clemson sport has ever done that, I don't think! The announcer yesterday was reading off some Tim Bourret facts and the closest we came was with football in the 1900 decade! This is one fun team to watch. I never thought I'd enjoy watching softball, but I do!

seems to happen faster. Infielders have to make plays much quicker, and outfielders have to make throws in much quicker. To me, this adds to the excitement, and makes viewing it more enjoyable than beisaball. The fact that the ladies seem to be enjoying themselves doesn't hurt either. Does that make sense?

Agreed that the smaller field makes for faster play. They do generally have a lot more enthusiasm than the men's baseball teams. They're not afraid to put it on the line, though - diving catches, sliding into base, getting hit by pitches. Granted, getting hit by a baseball likely hurts a LOT more, but still - they don't hold back anything!
I think, too, just the excitement of a new sport and it doing so well in its first full season, and last year's abbreviated season as well. That also adds a lot.
They represent Clemson very well!
