Who really thinks LSU gives Bama a good game?

Nov 4, 2016, 12:25 PM

I don't the only thing LSU has going their way is it's a home game.
38-17 Bama

A close one. 28-27 Bama***

The only thing of importance with LSU is my team kicked their a$$ in Atlanta and started an era of CLEMSON football that I hope never ends!

Go tigers

We won by 1 point. That's hardly kicking someone's a$$. I'm all for Clemson but this post falls in the delusional homer category.

Make no mistake we kicked some @$$ that day, but yes the score didn't reflect it.

In the game that I personally saw, the faux tigers were dragging #### in the last quarter. I've never seen a good team so totally spent as they were when the real
TIGERS drove down the field for the winning field goal. If that game had lasted another quarter, LSU would have played the third team!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't have any money on it but I picked LSU in DD pik6.

Nov 4, 2016, 12:44 PM

I admit that it's a ridiculous pick and it will surely make my ranking drop in that contest. I couldn't help myself. I want Bama to lose a game to drop them to #4 in the rankings. I want Clemson to start the playoff in Atlanta and I want us to put Bama out in the first round.

LSU 3 Bama 2 ;)

If you can't throw the ball, you aren't going to beat Bama

Nov 4, 2016, 12:57 PM

at their own game. They recruit to that style better than anybody.

You have to be able to spread them out and throw it around to beat them, which is why we have the best chance of anybody.

Re: If you can't throw the ball, you aren't going to beat Bama

So much this. LSU barely has a punchers chance. Bama will sell out to stop the run, and they will. LSU can't throw a forward pass. Their offense is about as diverse as an 80's Pee Wee team.

ESPN & the media are just hyping it up for ratings. It's called entertainment.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time

II haven't watched LSU this year, but..

Nov 5, 2016, 7:45 AM [ in reply to If you can't throw the ball, you aren't going to beat Bama ]

ESPN had some pundits on the other days commenting that they throw the ball better this year. I would imagine that it still isn't an air show though.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm thinking it's time for them to have a really close call.

Nov 4, 2016, 1:06 PM

Not sure if they will lose, but LSU on a Sat night, with that defense and LF running the ball is a tall order. Many thought that they were one of a few teams that could win it all this year.

It's extremely hard to go undefeated, and I hope our guys understand how special it will be if they do it during the regular season two years in a row.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I picked LSU in my pick 'em....

Nov 4, 2016, 1:07 PM

If you skeered go home..

Not with Ogeron coaching against Saban.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think this will be the difference maker...Close but edge

Nov 4, 2016, 3:46 PM

to Bama on the coaching.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think it'll be a good game, but a game Bama wins.***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I think it's close because Miles is gone

Nov 4, 2016, 1:37 PM

Ed will not play this game in a "phone booth" like Miles has tried to do.

LSU has big fast bodies all over the field. Ole Leonard will get room to run this year.

With that said Bama still wins but it's closer than most think

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Also, Bama's qb is a true freshman

Nov 4, 2016, 1:49 PM

He's obviously a very mature 18 yr old kid and hasn't played like a freshman, but if lsu can get after him early and get him rattled and most importantly keep it close til the 4th then they've got a fighters chance. For the first time in my life I'm pulling for LSU. And it'll probably be a blowout loss.

A good game doesn't necessarily translate to a win. Bama by 14 +

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Mixed, but I would not mind if Bama kept the SEC sheen on to

Nov 5, 2016, 8:02 AM

the Natty champs and then Tigers wipe it off! Remember last year when nobody gave us a chance?

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Alabama hasn't had an unbeaten season since 2009.

Nov 5, 2016, 9:32 AM

They're due for a loss. At least, LSU will win against the spread.
