One of my first cousins who is reasonably intelligent and a college grad sent me a text this morning that has me shaking my head. Thankfully he is a Tarhole and not a Clemson man!
He comes from a long line of Southern Democrats, but has fallen under the sway of Trump and now more than a few conspiracy theories. I better enjoyed debating him over Republicans being a better fit for NC than the national Democratic Party.
He told me he had noticed some odd things with Biden and now has it confirmed by a supposed ex CIA friend of his that Joe Biden has been dead for several months and this is being covered up by 2 separate body doubles filling in for the deceased President.
WTH is going on when otherwise normal folks are coming up with crazy stuff like this.
I can only imagine how pizzed off Kamala is gonna be when she finds out what is going on.
I didn't even respond to his text as this is so off the chain to warrant a serious reply.

Nah it's all true. My great aunt who died at 99 was a socialist during her college days in Chapel Hill which made for some very entertaining clashes with my dad who was a Goldwater/Reagan Pub.
My great aunt would be spinning out of her grave were she aware of her grand nephew's descent down the rabbit hole.
This is the second thing he's sent that at first had me making fun of him as I thought he was kidding. He's dead serious about this nonsense which truly amazes me.

Dang man sorry to hear that. Your cousin is in some pretty deep red-pilled Q territory stuff. I haven’t had this in my own family (yet) but have heard so many stories about people’s family members that get all wound up in conspiracy stuff and it just completely takes over their lives, like the only thing that gives them purpose and makes them a part of something bigger than themselves. It’s like losing a family member and it sucks.

the 2020 election. I guess after a few billion+ dollar lawsuits, an independent audit that found absolutely nothing, and Sean Hannity finally saying it was all a lie, he finally thought about it enough to figured it out.
Nope--it wasn't one conspiracy--it was a million little ones of Democrats cheating everywhere that caused Trump to lose, from the media, to twitter, to election laws changed at the last minute.
It's like stepping on a spider and all the little babies on its back take off on a million directions.
