Why everyone is so high on Will Shipley?
He wasn't impressive to me last season to be RB1. Kobe Pace seemed to have a better first step and made the secondary miss more than shipley.

I've been a Clemson fan my whole life, until I turned into an alumni. Why are you trying to say that I'm a carolina fan? It really doesn't make sense. Yes Shipley performed well but not better than Kobe Pace IMO.

New TNET posters frequently make the mistake of believing this is a forum for discussing Clemson football and post an opinion believing it might start an interesting discussion about the team. As you’ve discovered it’s closer to Twitter and you’ll be immediately attacked if your post is perceived as critical in anyway. Being called a coot is the usual way the criticism starts.
I too was impressed by Pace and early in the season questioned why he wasn’t starting but it’s not fair to compare a sub with fresh legs with an occasional big carry and a banged up starter. As the season went on Ship impressed me as being a real brawler who at times put the team in his back and just got it done. I liked the way coaches mixed it up with them, it was effective. I hope we can get them all involved enough to keep them all happy.
Good luck trying to enjoy TNET, there are occasional good discussions.

I am not - still waiting for him to prove himself in his running, pass catching, and blocking skills - has not proven himself yet - too much talking and not enough showing on the field as far as I am concerned!!!! When he has shown proficiency in all three areas on a consistent basis then only may he be considered a LEADER on this team!!!! His dropped pass over the middle in the Pittsburgh game which should have gone for a touchdown was the turning point in that game!!!!

We usually allow our coach to determine who the number one is at all positions. We do sometimes offer our assistance if our quarter back play isn’t good
