Mel Tucker now makes dabo kinda $

This what worries me about college football. Mich St has done nothing and their giving him $100 million contract.

The big 10 has a better TV contact than the ACC.

Where will it stop? This is crazy.

While the compensation is a bit unmerited...

after all, this is only his second season with Sparty, this is clearly more a case of Michigan State's administration being concerned that MT may be inclined to leave for a better opportunity (LSU or Southern Cal for example) and apparently they are prepared to pay to further ensure that doesn't happen.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I have no interest in college football feeling like a mini NFL. So Kirby will need a raise. Then Saben, because he has to be the highest paid, then dabo. Then the assistant s. Then ticket prices go up. Schools ask for more money.....then NIL. It's not going to stop.

I'm going to end up watching Furman. If so I don't care. I don't want a super conference, but it's coming. Gorden Geko said it....greed is good. That's all it is.

Well, look at the bright side before you bail. You had a SOLID one month run here on Tnet. <img border=">

Gonna be hilarious when he loses the next 3 games

They end their season with Ohio State and Penn State and then will probably be in a pretty solid bowl which means another good team that could beat them. This move was well timed by Mel. If you look at their schedule this year so far, Michigan and Miami are the only teams they have beaten with a pulse and I don't think either are really all that great.

I agree. It is ridiculous. I understand they don’t want to lose him but honestly his track record is to short to warrant a pay increase/new contract of that much. The Spartans are playing with fire and will probably get burned.
