....spread his wings and soar. DS is a leader of men and will promote their professional growth. He's not going to dissuade BV from leaving but rather will push him to take the Okie job.

If he is truly pushing BV to OU then he needs his head checked.

He should be lobbying for a huge raise and trying his best to keep him.

As a CEO, you wouldn't push your best employee to a competitor just so they can feel good. You throw more money and title at them to keep them with you.
