While having a nice meal at Logan’s Roadhouse last night…

I overheard a Clemson “fan” complaining about our team. He went on to send his $12 steak back 3 times because he deserved for it to be cooked exactly the way he likes it. After complaining about his portion size, his boss, and 2 or 3 other things, he finished every bite of his meal, asked for extra complimentary rolls to take home, then left a $1 tip. The entire time his wife just sat there staring off into oblivion, probably thinking about a horse running on a beach or something. When the waitress came back I slipped her a $50 for having to deal with him.

My mom was a waitress and I worked n restaurants all though high school and college. Empathy for folks doing those jobs. Every so often you get a dud, but most of the time folks are good and doing their best.

I ran six Subways in Charlotte for a few years. Standing on the other side of the counter and dealing with some of the public is something else. Worst job I ever had to deal with.

I sat down to dinner just the other night at Logan's Roadhouse, and it was extremely busy. The waitress apologized for not cleaning our table before seating us but was nice enough to leave 50$ on the table for the inconvenience. I'll probably dine there more often.

Wait. Can you use “nice meal” and Logan’s Roadhouse in the same sentence?
So, my steak didn’t meet my expectations and they didn’t give me enough take home rolls.
It was the waitress’ fault so I gave he 4 quarters.

I don’t eat at chain restaurants, so I wouldn’t know. There are plenty of privately owned restaurants in the upstate to choose from. I used to deliver food to a lot of these places and can definitely tell you of some great places to eat. Also, where not to go eat. There’s a Chinese restaurant in Greer where I witnessed a guy mixing up the veggies for the egg rolls with his bare feet. Peking next to Belk on Wade Hampton Blvd

I’d say the average price for 2 males eating at Logan’s would average around $48. You literally doubled the tip of the other guy.

That had to be some crap piece of steak for $12….
I bet it was eye of round.
Who did you slip $50? The wife or the waitress?

Said fan then returned to Tigernet, explained how horrible his dinner was, then stated "if I can put 4 quarters together after such a terrible experience, then our offense should be able to put 4 quarters together every Saturday".
