Whether we like it or not, college football

is destined to fail. With no consistent leadership for all of the conferences, football is headed for anarchy and some would say we are already there.
The only model that will work now is a minor league football system separating education from sports. College football has become a business much like the NFL except the NFL has rules and leadership.
Maybe the colleges can lease their stadiums to the new minor league system.

As a long time college football fan this day we knew this was coming sooner or later. How long did you think players, whose performance coaches depend on for their next job opportunity, were going to sit back and watch coaches move freely from school to school without wanting the same freedom to move? How long were players going to allow schools to make money off their performance, image, etc...and not get paid? The NCAA's failure to be proactive about this got things to this point. College football has now become a business for everyone (coaches, players, AD's) for all involved. If a school can't compete financially from a NIL perspective for players you better have a top notch staff who can recruit and has a history of developing NFL talent. Now this genie is out of the bottle odds are its not going back to what it was. The programs that adapt will persevere. Those that don't will not be apart of the CFB playoff hunt. The ability to recruit the best talent will really show itself from this point.

With USFL coming online it sounds like the NFL may solve the college football issues for us.
